It’s almost a 100° in Austin, Texas today, making you want to peel layers of skin off, much less clothes. In the process of avoiding getting toasted, I stumbled onto this cute little boutique cafe, La Patisserie. Their outdoor seating was a respite for furry baby, Mishka and I and their super friendly barista made that heat stroke bearable.
Take the time to pause from the running around and sit outside with a cup of coffee and maybe a pastry or a couple of macaroons, that’ll make you feel like sitting in your own front porch. Also, it may not be Paris, but it sure is close enough, or maybe it’s just the heat talking.
