In the past 8 years of missing out on the fast-paced development of this city, I am trying to play catch-up and it is overwhelming to say the least. Delhi is evolving into a multi-cultural hub by representing many international trends along with maintaining strong ties to its heritage.
The latest find of the week is Monkey Bar in South Delhi, Vasant Kunj. Cute date night space, with decorative fairy lights that transforms into a fun local watering hole with peppy music as the night progresses. The unique pyramid glass ceiling would remind you of the Louvre and if you are a romantic like Just A Desi Girl, do visit when it is raining to enjoy the cliched dreamy sequence with an equally appropriate background music.
The reasonable prices make you want to splurge more on the cocktails and small eats all with a desi twist. Try the Maanga, aam panna with vodka, if you need something refreshing with a kick. Watch out for their social media posts to be up to date if you like discovering new and local artists.
