My cousin and I made our way to Hells Kitchen for a girls night out, you know cuz I’m #JustADesiGirl and gotta do my desi girl thing. Like all economical people, we pre-gamed before we arrived, fortunately. But boy was the night sketchy.
Firstly, Lexicon moved from its 54th St location to Stage 48, which they still haven’t updated on their website, making this lazy girl’s night off to a bad start. Secondly, we had to pay a $20 entry fee, not fun when you are stingy. And thirdly, the place is jam-packed with testosterone, and the evening was spent peeling creepy guys off of us.
The saving grace being DJSukhi who played some fun numbers and momentarily made us forget our suitors. I suppose it would have been eventful if we went as a group though. But it shouldn’t be this difficult for JustADesiGirl to enjoy a #DesiNight all by herself. Am I Right?
